I was just wondering if you could make it so when I view the invoice report it will show me the sub total, total taxed $ (Not Tax Amount) , total items non-taxed $ (Not Tax Amount), actual tax paid, shipping, and grand total.

I know this may be a bit, but it would help around tax time because my state (MN) asks for the amount of taxed sales (Not including tax) and amount of non-taxed sales and total sales (all) not including tax. Otherwise I have to go through each invoice and add up the total non-taxed items to figure it out. When you have a large company, this gets very hard to do.

If there already is a way to do this, please let me know. Thank you for such a great piece of software, it really keeps me organized.

Hello Jeremiah!

The Product Sales report shows the total tax (and non-taxed just by subtracting), as does the Payments Received report (if you want to report on *only* money that actually came in).

Do you need the tax/non-tax information on every invoice in your report, or will the total do?

Sorry for the confusion, I guess what I am asking is, can the report show (the total dollars that was taxed (not how much was taxed)) and (the total dollars that was not taxed) and (how much tax was charged) and (the standard totals). It is just hard to go through each invoice to figure out how much stuff was taxed and how much wasn't. State taxes are a mess anyways. I know there probably is a simple equation to figure this out, but it would be nice to have it on the screen for us. As far as tax went last year, I had to figure out how to come up with the numbers, I tried going through each invoice and adding it up but it became a nightmare. Let me know if there is any way to do this. Thanks again!

P.S: I am not talking about the actual invoices to customers. I am talking about the reports you can do like at the end of the year and such. Sorry, I wasn't very clear.

No need to apologize. You need the taxable totals instead of the tax itself. That shouldn't be a problem to do. I'll probably add a special "tax report".
