Invoice status

Would it possible at all to have additional options added to the invoice status? I'm using the software to help run our engineering /jobbing shop business and it occurred to me that if I had additional options under the heading of "Status" I could track the job through our workshop by adjusting the staus as it moved from drawing office to factory floor to completed goods to finally, paid.

No, I'm afraid that isn't possible.

The status values are tracked automatically and have to be to insure that everything lines up at the end of the day!
