Invoice Tagging

Hi Mitchell,
Have been using your program for over two years now for invoices to clients of my web design and hosting business and it is great.
However, I have clients that are very late on paying and when I either call them or email them that we're about to shut down their website and email due to non-payment they often tell me they never received the invoice. In most cases I know better but can't prove it because I have no way of absolutely knowing that in fact they did receive it and just aren't paying.
I use a program called MSGTAG from FireTrust.com in my general email that automatically notifies me when someone has downloaded and opened an email from my company. It is great but doesn't work with kBilling mailings. I think it would be a great asset if something like this could be incorporated in kBilling.
Think about it please. Would really keep customers somewhat honest because there is a blurb at the bottom of each email that says, "The sender of this email has been automatically notified of receipt by the recipient".
Once again, great program but would be even greater with something as mentioned above.

I can't seem to find the product page for MSGTAG over there. Can you post a direct link so I can take a look at it?

I'd say it's a return-receipt handler or remote image tracker and unfortunately those are *really* easy to defeat. All a user has to do is select "no" to sending return receipts and block loading of external images and you'd never know. That's done by default in almost every email client available these days.

I have added a return receipt option in version 2, but it's still up to the recipient to allow return receipts mailed back to you.

Anyway, I'm happy to take a look at MSGTAG if you can send me a link. Maybe it works some magic that I don't know about!
