program changes

mitch, you keep talking about making the changes, how do i go about having these changes made on my program as well. are there any updates available that can be made without reinstalling all of the customers.

The most current production release of kBilling is version 1.3.88 and can be downloaded at http://www.k-billing.com/kbilling_installer.exe

I've not released an update in 3 years that requires any re-entry of data and that won't change! You don't lose a thing when you update (though you should always make backup copies of your company files just in case!).

Work has progressed on the 2.0 version since February and the download is available in the Beta forum (hit the main forum page, it's the last one). There are 2 betas out right now - the 2.0 beta is much more mature and almost ready (the Pro version still needs some work). It is a *test* version, though, so keep that in mind if you install it. If you do decide to install it you'll have to run a conversion utility on your database but you won't lose a single thing. Be sure to make a backup copy of the company file before you do that in case you want to go back to 1.3.88!

2.0 should be released within a few weeks, so you have the option of waiting until then too.
