Is there a place to type a vendor number that prints on invoice & all future invoices

Is there a place to type a vendor number that would be printed on the invoice and all future invoices. I am sure I could type something at the bottom but it really would need to be somewhere near the top. Thank you.

There is a customer number assigned to every customer when you choose the customer from the drop-down list. That is displayed as teh account number on the invoice.
