Hi I am ready for buy the soft, but I read in the forum about that I can access to the database. I guess to make some integration with mi site web and I will need to add register in the data base to create some spacial invoice from my private web or add a new client. Could you tell me about the driver or interface or library for speaking with the data base.
I read what Kbill will change to no proprietary data base, Could you tell me when? (approximatively).
Thanks.
Omar.

kBilling uses a modified version of a file based database called SQLite. However, I don't think that is going to help you. kBilling was designed for use on the desktop and not as a web based application.

Ok, I don't need use the application on the web, I only want to synchronizer my database on the web with K-billing and always to have the same client in both.
Could you give me if are there some driver/library to communicate with? (like as odbc or jdbc).
Thanks.
Omar

No, I'm afraid there are no ODBC/JDBC drivers available for the database.
I have a command-line XML export function on the list that would allow you to pull data from the database into an XML file. That might be your best bet. It just got on the list so it will take a bit of time to get finished but I will post updates here as progress is made.
Thanks!
