unable to update?

Hi, for some reason,
The "Check for updates" option on the drop down menu is not working, It keep telling me to connect to the internet, even though I obviously am on the internet.

So I thought I'd download directly from the website but that told me my service status of something has expired and unable to install??

How can I update to the latest release??

The installer will check your license to make sure your update support covers the release that you are trying to install. Upgrades are free for 12 months with your initial license purchase but after 12 months you'll need to renew your license to keep receiving the updates. Once your update support expires you can use the last version you have installed for free, forever, but you cannot install new versions.
