Technical,

I sent you 2 emails asking if you could use my company logo, resize it if necesaary, and to create a set of templates for me and you have not replied.

I am now desperate to send out invoicesa etc.

How long should I wait on you?

Regards

Hi Graham- I haven't received any emails from you for that. Please re-send to the support@ksoftware.net address.

Is there any way to make you templates support a vector logo? The logo options are great, but the advantage of PDF is that you can zoom in and out with perfect clarity, however logos that are .jpg aren't supportive of that. When people print them, I would like it to be perfectly clear, no matter the printer or user. Is that possible?

Using a PDF (or other vector format) logo isn't possible but getting a clear picture is.

If your logo is 256 colors or less the best option is GIF. Just remember that, regardless of format, make the image 100DPI and not standard screen resolution or it will come out fuzzy.

What are the general dimensions to fit in a standard template?

actually, just tried to make it a gif, but the program only allows you to use .jpgs as the logo.

Yes - they're listed in the manual under invoice templates. But you're using the beta version so the numbers printed there won't apply exactly (though old logos will still work).

Let me know which template you're using and I'll send you the dimensions.

It looks like my image library vendor has removed GIF support again on some patent issue. I'll look it up and see if there is a workaround.

Now that I think about it just plain bitmaps will work the best since the software has to comvert (or decompress) them to BMP before using them anyway. Try saving as a .BMP file and see how it goes.
