Invoice Designs

Being an user of kBilling for the past 2 years...I would request KSoftware guys to get rid of some old Invoice templates and bring up few really good ones.

Iam not asking for so complicated designs like we see here : http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/11/05/invoice-like-a-pro/

I checked out those links to other templates. Most appeared to be customized to suit the businesses using the specific template/s i.e., most were designed around the company.

I've dabbled quite a bit with Report Manager, the program one could use to customize the existing templates, and wow - what a job and making certain one doesn't step on the toes of the massive amount of variables and design.

However, I'm sure that in the right hands and one with experience, could use RM to add their own twist to some templates.

I'd go into a deep learn if I thought I could turn out some custom templates ... but I doubt there is a call for them.

Someone else might think so.

I think (and it's been discussed before!) that we need k-billing to have it's own wysiwyg invoice editor. Only at that time will I update my license; and I'm sure many others!

Until then, I will keep using the awesome k-billing program with ok invoice designs.

I've been searching for a suitable replacement for ReportMan for years and unfortunately haven't been able to find a new system that will work with the core code of the software..

A re-write is on the horizon and I'm evaluating a number of different platforms, languages and report designers.. Stay tuned!
