Importing transactions?

I have a small lawn business that operate with my Dad. He insists on bookkeeping with excel, which means there is no easy way to print statements every month for our 600+ customers. In the past I've used a convoluted process by which I import transactions into quickbooks. However, I loathe quickbooks and now that they've sunsetted my 2006 version, I refuse to buy another.

KBilling looks much simpler and perfect for our fairly basic needs. The only problem is that there is no way to import transactions from an excel spreadsheet to Kbilling. Are there any 3rd party utilities that would accomplish this?

No, there is no way to import old transactions (invoices) into kBilling. There are so many things that have to line up to make all of the Customer -> Invoice -> Item -> Payment associations line up that it isn't feasible to create an import utility.
